OUR MISSION

The mission of the L4LCC is to provide a safe, nurturing, educational environment where children can engage in an individualized and developmentally-appropriate curriculum that nurtures each child's full potential and well-being.

About Us: Our Mission

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

 We believe that:

  • Child development occurs in a mostly predictable sequence, more complex skills build on foundational skills

  • With developmentally appropriate expectations and support, all children can learn the skills they need to maximize their potential

  • The parent is the child’s first teacher and we are here to offer support

  • Play is essential. Learning should be fun!

L4LC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, learning or physical disabilities, individual health care needs, national /ethnic origin, socioeconomic status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion, in admissions or policies. A guiding principle of the L4LC is valuing the worth and dignity of each individual. We are sensitive to individual and group differences, and believe they should be acknowledged, explored, respected, and celebrated. We view the differences between us as stepping stones to the personal and intellectual growth, and connection of our community.
